New Look for the Hopi Health Care Center
December 4, 2022 – Polacca, Arizona
Since its grand opening in November 2000, the Hopi Health Care Center has been a blessing for our people, just as it has for members of the Navajo Nation who reside in nearby communities. Now, some twenty-two years later, our healthcare facility will be getting a facelift, as outlined in the contract opportunity released for bids on November 29, 2022.
The bid was published on November 29, 2022 and closes at 2:00 pm (MST) on January 20, 2023. While it is not specifically designated Hopi preference, for obvious reasons, there may be an opportunity for our people to get a piece of the pie as a subcontractor. Moreover, our staff will continue to seek information on how our people can become involved at all levels of this project.
