PIMC will be hosting a Community Vaccination Event (CVE) on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 8:00am to 4:00pm on the PIMC Hospital East Patio.

You may receive your 1st or 2nd shot, if you are 12 years of age or older. You may also receive your 3rd dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

If you have not been vaccinated yet, you have the choice of receiving a Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine single shot, if you are 18 years of age or older.

Seasonal influenza (flu) vaccines will be available to you and your children, ages 4 years of age and older.

CDC recommends the Pfizer 3rd dose booster if you are:

•         65 years of age or older

•         If you are between the ages of 50–64 and you have an underlying medical condition, you should receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. This shot is recommended at least 6 months after you have completed your primary series of the Pfizer vaccine.

•         If you are between the ages of 18–49 years, with underlying medical conditions, you may receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after your Pfizer primary series.

•         If you are between the ages of 18-64 years and you are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of your job or where you live (residential treatment or counseling center or a quarantine center, for example), you may choose to receive a booster shot of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Remember, you must wait at least 6 months after you received your Pfizer primary series.

•         If you or your relatives are in long-term care settings, you should receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Again, you must wait at least 6 months after completing the Pfizer primary series .
