Brianne Arviso is the First Native American to Earn a PhD in Construction

Lolma and let’s join in celebrating the recent milestone for Native Americans and more importantly, Native American Women as the world welcomed the first ever Native American PhD in construction.

Dr. Brianne Arviso recently received the honor from ASU. She is a member of the Navajo Nation and has been working while attending ASU to fulfill her longtime goal. This accomplishment will certainly help in the family-owned construction business, Arviso Construction.

Help us in congratulating Brianne in this marvelous step in the construction industry, which has historically been dominated by men. She helps set the standard for strong indigenous women around the globe and especially here in northern Arizona.
