Owkiwa. Another sad story to post. Allister Adel has passed away, not long after the much publicized story about her struggle with alcohol and the high profile position as the law of the land for Maricopa County.

According to her family, she passed away due to health complications. She was only 45 years old and leaves behind a husband and two children.

It’s a sad story for such a wonderful attorney who was elected to Maricopa County’s top seat in November 2020. She is a graduate of ASU.

“I had always said that if the stars aligned, and my dream job of county attorney came open, that I had to try,” said Adel, a 2004 graduate of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
