Ganado High School alumna nominated to Chair the National Endowment for the Humanities

Lolma. Today is another proud day for Native Americans as Ganado High School alumna, Shelly Lowe, is nominated as the 12th Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).

She is currently a member of the National Council on the Humanities, an appointment she received from President Obama. She grew up in the Navajo Nation town of Ganado and graduated in 1992.
