Duties

The position is located in the Management Information Systems at Hopi Health Care Center in Polacca, AZ. Incumbent’s work involves the planning and delivery of Information Technology Customer support services, providing Point of Care Customer Service, and resolving customer related technical software and hardware problems in accordance with established policies and procedure to Hopi Health Care Center and surrounding field clinics and reports to the Supervisory Information Technology Specialist.

  • Incumbent provides customer assistance and training for all Information Technology Systems and applications utilized at Hopi Health Care Center.
  • Incumbent will review and assign work orders to the Information Technology Specialists.
  • Incumbent will troubleshoot and provide solutions to customer requests for assistance in resolving complex hardware and software problems, occasionally escalates issues to a higher graded specialist or supervisor.
  • Incumbent utilizes a helpdesk software solution to manage the complete lifecycle of helpdesk tickets, reports all pertinent information from the onset of a problem through its resolution, run reports and follow up with specialists on open tickets.
  • Incumbent provides technical assistance to ensure information technology systems have minimal disruption. Proactively interacts with users to ensure proper operation of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Incumbent shares responsibilities for the maintenance of location telecommunication network (VoIP), including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of system.
