Red Flag Warning/Wind Advisory In Effect For Northern Arizona Tuesday

A Red Flag Warning is in effect again Tuesday from 11 a.m. through 7 p.m. for areas including Holbrook, Snowflake-Taylor, Tuba City and Winslow. Winds are expected to be 20-to-30 miles-per-hour with gusts up to 50 miles-per-hour at times. The combination of strong gusty winds and low humidities will create critical fire weather conditions. Also a Wind Advisory is also in effect from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. for areas included in the Red Flag Warning as well as other areas of the Navajo Nation, Flagstaff, Williams, Hopi Nation and Prescott. Winds are expected to calm down by Wednesday. Just a reminder, there is a campfire ban for all forests of Arizona until June 30th.
