FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASESALT LAKE CITY: The vibrant energy of Indigenous design returns to Salt Lake City with the 2nd Annual Utah Indigenous Fashion Week (UIFW), taking place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at the Leonardo Museum. This year promises to be even bigger and bolder, following a sold-out inaugural event in 2023. Ticket sales are open to the public on Tuesday, March 19th.
UIFW celebrates the artistry and cultural heritage of Utah’s diverse Indigenous communities. This year’s event showcases the work of 18 talented Indigenous designers from across the state. The runway will come alive with a stunning array of fashion, featuring collections ranging from ready-to-wear to couture, and modern interpretations to traditional designs.
More than just a fashion show, UIFW is a celebration of cultural identity. The entire production team, from models and coordinators to hair and makeup artists, reflects the intertribal diversity of Indigenous groups from Utah and the Southwest.
This is a not-to-be-missed event, and with last year’s sell-out, early ticket purchase is highly encouraged.
