Voter Registration Forms from Private Orgs Not State-Sponsored

June 5, 2024

PHOENIX – The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office wishes to inform the public about ongoing voter registration outreach by the Voter Participation Center (VPC) and the Center for Voter Information (CVI). These private organizations aim to engage Arizona voters by increasing participation in upcoming elections. VPC and CVI have sent voter registration forms to residents in all 15 counties. The voter registration solicitation forms were not approved or sent by the Secretary of State or County Recorder offices. While the registration form that Voter Participation Center and the Center for Voter Information is using is not the final State form that was created by the Secretary of State’s office, it is in compliance with the recent court rulings and legislative changes, and will be processed by the County Recorders. Spanish language translations were done by an independent third party. The Secretary of State does not endorse any political group or candidate and is solely responsible for maintaining the official forms.Voters may receive these documents shortly after the mailing dates of May 23, August 24, and September 15. If you receive a form and are already registered, no action is required, your voter registration remains active. However, we encourage all voters to verify their registration status and update any outdated information through the official state site at www.arizona.vote. Please see the following deadlines to register to vote or update your information:Primary Election: July 1, 2024General Election: October 7, 2024For individuals wishing to be removed from the mailing lists, please refer to the unsubscribe instructions provided at the bottom of the received mailer, or contact the organizations directly via email at unsubscribe@voterparticipation.org for VPC and unsubscribe@centerforvoterinformation.orgfor CVI.Secretary Fontes reminds residents to refer to our official website www.arizona.vote and county web pages for reliable information.
